What We Did

Red Equipment Co were launching a new surf-specific inflatable stand-up paddleboard called The Whip in late 2022, and commissioned Access Adventure Productions to create a set of imagery for their upcoming catalogue.

This production used a small and dynamic team of photographer Mark Mason alongside adventure athlete and Access Adventure’s founder Alex Libby, at several locations around Newquay, UK. We used one location to capture content showcasing how The Whip rolls, packs and inflates, and can be carried in it’s own bag or in a low profile strap system. We then utilized another venue to capture surf action imagery of Alex riding the 8’10” Whip using drone photography. The success of this shoot led to onward work with Red Equipment Co.
